I remember I was watching this one YouTube channel one time (WorldClassBullshitters) and they once brought up the idea of Batman having sex, because a scene was cut from the Harley Quinn show that had Batman engaging in debaucherous sex acts with Catwoman, and the rep said "Batman doesn't do that." The hosts of the podcast couldn't understand how or why Batman wouldn't be a degenerate, because they all clearly are, and they asked the question as a discussion topic, "Would Batman do oral or anal sex?" and all the guys on there 100% agreed Batman would do both; especially anal. And I remembered getting so utterly pissed off about it. And while I couldn't describe why I was, at the time, I later could articulate why.

It's because Batman is supposed to be a highly disciplined person. Only fucking LOSERS engage in all this everyday debauchery and bullshit that people do. Stuff like recreational sex, weed smoking, drinking, tobacco, fast food, porn, gambling, etc. And granted, we live in a fucking dystopia and these are all basically coping mechanisms to avoid blowing our brains out, they're still vices and methods of self-destruction that no mentally healthy person engages in, nonetheless. While Batman arguably isn't mentally healthy, he IS supposed to be above human vices and loser shit like smoking weed and doing oral/anal sex, let alone any recreational sex at all. (Note; I mean fucking random people and having one-night-stands, not actual "love-making" with a long-term partner or spouse.)

The reason I got so pissed off is that these men were trying to drag Batman down to the level of their dumb, deadbeat, Millennial bullshit of vice, chaos, debauchery, degeneracy, hedonism, addiction, immaturity, selfishness, and self-destruction. And by proxy, make themselves feel good by comparing themselves to their pathetic projection of the Dark Knight and going "See, he's just like me!" Which is usually the failure-at-life crap feminists and woke Millennial women do with all the "body positivity" and "fat acceptance" shit.

Yeah, I get it's a dumb comic book character and it's kind of ridiculous to rant about it, but they could've used this same justification for anyone in real life; Bruce Lee, Muhammad Ali, Michael Jordan, etc. "I 100% guarantee you Bruce Lee was into anal sex. He's just like me!" The projection is what pisses me off.

It's like, instead of admitting Batman is too disciplined to engage in cheap flings, marijuana, drugs, porn, gambling, polygamy, and junk food, and that maybe he can be a symbol of what YOU can do if you work on bettering yourself and living up to your true potential, you want to instead reduce Batman down to being as much of a fucking LOSER as you. And there's several layers of why that pisses me off.

And like I said, it's such a bitch-thing to do that too; I wouldn't expect non-Progressive men to be that insecure about themselves to reduce Batman into being as much of a degenerate disaster with forty different vices as your typical Western Millennial. I wouldn't expect grown men to feel the need to "humanize" Batman down into being a fucking Chud, Seth-Rogen-type like they are. It's usually not men who need to make such excuses and project their flaws, vices, insecurities, and failures onto others in such a way.

So, no. Batman isn't the oral/anal sex type. Batman isn't the cheap, one-night-stand type (aside from a few shitty stories and the whole Talia Al Ghul/Damian Wayne shit; no one likes Damian-fucking-Wayne, anyway.) Batman isn't the "smoke weed everyday, 420" type. Batman isn't the "Pornhub intro as a ringtone" type. Batman isn't the "ethically non-monogamous" cuck type. Batman isn't the "subbed to your OnlyFans" type.

No, "Batman DOESN'T do that," and if you want to get your fee-fees in a bunch because some real-life people out there ALSO aren't as much of a miserable fuck-up and pervert as you, then no one gives a shit. But don't drag down others to your level, just because they actually have discipline and a desire of self-improvement, even if they're fictional people. If YOU want to be a fucking loser and make excuses for all your addictions and vices instead of getting sober, you do you. But don't drag down modern myths to your level of being a 30-something fuck-up who literally contributes nothing beneficial to society or the human species to the point you're the opposite of It's A Wonderful Life and actively make the world worse to live in with your existence. (And yes, being from Philly, I've known plenty of people who are exactly this.)

And if ANY superheroes were going to be fuck-ups, they'd be Marvel characters like Tony Stark and his alcoholism, She-Hulk and her sex addiction, or Spider-Man with his "I'm always broke" status. But not DC. DC characters are supposed to be what you aspire to be; while Marvel are supposed to be "similar to you, but y'know, still better than you, because you suck."
