Seriously though, the teacher knows how to do math but not word problems.

(It's fake. Teachers also don't bother with 3-part explanations. It's right or wrong, with no commentary. Another argument - were this real - is that it took 10 minutes to measure and cut the board into 2/3rds and 1/3rd, and 5 minutes more to make the second cut because another measurement was not required; the 2nd line was already marked on the board. )

The second board was made out of ice. Therefore, calculus was needed due to the melting of the ice making the board thinner during the time it took her to cut it.

Well I'll admit the 9gag comments are hilarious (re. a solution for 15 mins), as usual. Much better than those dumb posts. And to think: these kids are our future. Jesus....
