That's a definition that's rapidly becoming archiac, the same way people no longer use "gay" to mean "happy" or "pussy" to mean "cat." If you said you were grooming an employee in 1970, people would nod and say "good." If you said the same thing today, they'd look at you in shock.

WebMD's definition of "sexual grooming" is "when a sexual predator builds a relationship with a child or adult to abuse and exploit them. They build trust but use it to control, isolate, and abuse their victims emotionally, physically, and sexually."

Sexual grooming is about sex. And you obviously aren't accusing the doctors of grooming children for a future as Planned Parenthood doctors. And you aren't accusing them of brushing the children's hair or picking fleas off their backs. When you call them "groomers," you're trying to invoke the imagery of sexual groomers, who start romantic relationships with minors in order to fuck them later.
