It doesn't work. If you take different samples from the same person, you get different results every time. And I mean it can swing from 100% one way or the other.

My guess is it's based on sexist stereotypes, so of course it's not grounded in reality.

Maybe you are... gender fluid 😂

When I ran yours with more data last night male and female were really close. http://midi.moe/f/wvpre.png

With close to 2,000 words I'm not surprised. My guess is the bigger sample you give it, the weaker the results will be, because like most things in the media these days it's just clickbait. Maybe it can pick up on a handful of very light trends, but even the slightest push would throw it off. Especially somewhere like saidit, where literally nobody is normal enough to fit into standard psychology and sociology. And I also have trouble believing it isn't influenced by the modern "men bad women good" bias.

When people were telling me I write like a woman they meant more along the lines of bothering to use punctuation and proper grammar, because apparently men don't. I don't really buy it because I haven't observed that myself, but quite a few people have assumed I'm female because of it. Now that I think of it, the people who tell me that are mostly 10+ years older than me, so they probably escaped a lot of the hell that is modern school English classes. Maybe it's different for them. But personally I almost always think everyone is male until I found out otherwise.

That doesn't make it a good reason.

Facts aren't good or bad, they just are.
