Power has been out the past 21 hours after a thunderstorm moved through yesterday. To save our food from spoiling, I powered the fridge with my car's alternator. ~ Prepare for the blackout.

I profess faith in Jesus Christ. He died on the cross to remove our guilt of sin.... and He rose again. God is my Provider, and He it is I serve. Earlier in my life when I was lost, I pursued a degree in electrical engineering and worked with electronics.

I appreciate your kind words. A word about being religious: I do not recommend that any go to a man-made church or to follow a man, but read God's word for yourself and live according to the teachings of Jesus. That is the path that leads to blessings and life, and few find that path. I would avoid those that put on an outward show of being religious. They can be fake, or worse: a wolf in sheep's clothing. We were born into a spiritual battle on a fallen world. This world system belongs to God's enemy. And here we are, to be tested! It's important for each man to work out his own salvation with fear and trembling. Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.
