I don't think we know the cause yet, nor when that occurs.

Because it doesn't occur, it's not biological. We are our bodies and our bodies are sexed. We're a sexually dimorphic species, and each of our two sexes informed our concepts surrounding our two genders. You can be straight, you can be gay, but you can not be "in the wrong body" whatever the fuck that is even supposed to mean.

Just because we don't know doesn't mean that you do.

We know from how they respond to treatment that Transsexuals, once they pass puberty, will be transsexuals. We also know that there are plenty of disorders that cause people to be intersex, and we are learning that some brain structures are sexually dimorphic. Certainly there are common behavioural disorders that favor one gender more than the other.

It means the gender of your brain is different to the one of your body.

That's just being gay! Making meat mâché out of your own body parts doesn't change who a person is and it doesn't make you a new type of person. "Trans" is something someone does, not what someone is.

And even intersex people are either male or female, they just have a genital birth defect.
