You know the weirdest thing about these child abuse stories? They never name the abusers. Wouldn't you think if she had really been gang raped she'd by eager to use the national platform to bring some belated justice to this rapist pop band? I do understand being too scared to tell anyone at 14, but why not now?

Let me 'splain this to you, Lucy..

These bullshit online newspapers, including CNN and MSNBC , etc, are all competing to see who can make up up the most fabulous bullshit..

Yup, that's what these fruitcakes are doing.

Pretty much, 99% of it is horsecrap.

I think I figured out who it is. The author, Emilia di Girolamo, was born at home on Nash Lee Road. Nash Lee Road is in Terrick, Aylesbury and in Wycombe district. Since she was a 14yr old girl, and lying about a sleepover for just one night, she'd have to been near home. The town proper of Aylesbury has the Aylesbury Civic Centre, and the only bands that played in 1985 was Sonic Youth, and Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds.. Sonic Youth is out, none of the members fit her description.

But in 1985, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds were down to 4 members as Emilia writes. She also said he was also an actor and a model, Nick Cave was an actor, although I don't see anything explicitly written about modeling, he has a number of pics from '85 and he could definitely have been a model.

She is not the one publishing her story, the guardian is. You think maybe they told her they can't name names because of the threat of defamation lawsuits?

No, I am saying they are making this stuff up

..just like they do making shit up about Trump.

Not just the people you like.

Pretty much every famous case where multiple women come forward there will be a few making it up but that doesn't mean all such claims are false.

Even with someone like Jimmy Saville a mother and daughter got caught pretending to be sisters so they could claim to be victims.

Then you have the cases where the women are likely telling the truth but the incidents are so insignificant they don't justify the outrage at all, like Cuomo pinching arses.

You also have cases where women are likely telling the truth but they were threatened into silence like in the Conspiracy of Silence documentary or like with Katie Johnson/Trump.

They make shit up about Trump, but they also support Trump on the other end and in the alt-media circles they control.

For real independents, they don't really give them a platform or voice. Most of the population have never heard of the real independents. They only parade around puppets in the media, like Trump.

That would certainly be a big risk if the story is made up, yes.

This is is what news used to sound like, before we began spiraling into a global economic collapse.

To get caught fabricating fantastic hoax stories is a sign of desperation that is to be expected of a crap publication just pre-bankruptcy.

That's not very weird.

One thing is defamation. I the UK you need proof if you're going to defame someone, and there's not going to be a lot of evidence from 37 years ago.

Another is the will. It puts a lot of stress on a person, their marriage and their children to go through a court case, particularly one regarding rape. Maybe she just doesn't feel up to it.
