Looks as if the veils of marriages, ties, drugs and consumerism that most sheeple hide behind gets more and more transparent.
Civility only can work as a concept when most people are invested into it. Because it costs a lot in resources, time and effort.
Less and less people are willing to pay it, especially those who could without any real loss, aren't. And since those false prophets are idolized in MSM, poor sheeple follow them.

Voting out of office all current GOP members (and a vew Dems, and any person in office more than 2 terms), because they've been the main architects of these problems in the US, and continue to block bills that are for the 99% (HR 8 to ban AR weapons, jobs bill, infrastructure bill, voting rights bill, packing the Supreme Court with religious assholes &c) , while handing themselves $trillions over the years.

You've learned nothing during the Biden presidency if you think that this is a partisan issue.

You've learned nothing during 40 years of Republican engineered extreme income inequality if you think this is not a partisan issue. This is what GOP-led congress has done: https://www.vox.com/2018/7/29/17627134/income-inequality-chart

TIL the GOP has been in control of congress and the Federal Reserve since 1980.

Most of them, yes: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/7/72/Combined--Control_of_the_U.S._House_of_Representatives_-_Control_of_the_U.S._Senate.png
This is not directly related to the Federal Reserve. This is about tax cuts and benefits for the wealthy, who have moved their manufacturing to China, killed unions, kept pay low, engaged the US in military conflict, killed the environment, killed farming, killedUS manufacturing, stacked the Supreme Court with corrupt assholes, and much more. Thay've been the party of the 1%. But the gains were temporary. The US is now destroyed with those approaches. Some Dems are to blame for standing by while it happened.

Oh, now only the GOP are war hawks? You are fucking delusional man. Good day.

It doesn't help to oversimplify this.
[–][deleted] 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun - 2 years ago (5 children)
that's exactly what you are doing with your partisan nonsense. it's the fucking zionists on both sides dude.
[–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun - 2 years ago (4 children)
you know that's another simplification, albeit associated (check the tinfoil hat for leaks)

How can you vote your way out when Dems also love war, wall st, and israel? It's a scam and a sitcom.

Dems are a part of it. They're both a part of the same system. Dems will just feed you crumbs to pretend like they're actually for the people.
I would say that the GOP are more brass in how they operate and aren't scared to blatantly enact world changing events (Iraq, 9/11, COVID-19). Although, COVID-19 had involvement from players on both sides.

Fair markets have some income inequality. You will never ever rid the world of inequality. We aren't carbon-copy robots, humans are individual and thus not equal.
The GOP generally push for fair markets, ie capitalism. Regulatory burdened markets frequently have extreme income inequality. DNC generally push for regulatory excessive control, then frequently try to fix that inequality with more regulation, which usually backfires.

fix that inequality with more regulation, which usually backfires
I refer to 'extreme' inequality. Additional regulation that reduces these extremes does not backfire. Regulations in the 1st half of the 20th century in the US led to one of the greatest economic eras in the world ('American dream' of post WWII - until the 1980s).

Yes, if those additional regulations actually did reduce those extreme inequalities, instead of ultimately making them worse, then it would not be a backfire. We squashed the greatest economy and American dream out of the country with excessive regulatory and control based authoritarianism.
Not according to every account of US 20th century history.

I don't know what authoritarian fantasy world you live in, but it is no the US...

locate one reasonable history text that addresses US post-Civil War to New Deal politics in a manner that would contradict all of the other history texts

Are you really taking the position that all government regulations is totally awesome helpful and never a bad thing....especially in respects to financial inequality?

I've not seen any information showing that those efforts to "flatten the curve" ever did work to flatten COVID infections rates, deaths, or hospital needs. All it did was flatten the debt burdens of states with hugely mismanaged urban cities, like Chicago and their pension funding crisis. We were simply looted during a crisis.
