A well written piece regarding the broader social ramifications of the worst public health disaster (the response, NOT the bug itself) the world has ever known. The move toward individual freedom and responsibility needs to move much faster than it is; it's happening, and yet at the same time, the assholes in charge (AIC) are still able to pull the shit they are pulling. So many people so badly broken and so desperately mentally unstable. It's tragic to watch.

Yeah, this is just evolution at work. The people who are dying of this now are overwhelmingly very sick, very old, or both. This has morphed from a legit health concern to "From now on, nobody is ever allowed to die". Society has become too soft for its own good and COVID is here to clear the detritus out.

Larry David lifted the title of Curb Your Enthusiasm from a very successful, long-running British sitcom about people working in a department store. You can still see it in rerun now and it is of course still hilarious. If Mr. David is so creative, why could he not come up with an original title?

I am not familiar with that British show. I thought you were talking about Are You Being Served at first.

Every production I've been on has basically just replaced its health and safety team with a covid team so there's no real extra jobs. These departments all run by the same guys who were health and safety heads a couple of years ago as well.

I mean part of me worries that somewhere in set there's a cable not being watched but I guess eventual will have to learn to live with a few unwatched cables.
