A lot of unhealthy fat fucks in the world.
A lot of weak minds and gullible people.
A lot of money to be made by shady companies.
A trail of death and destruction in the wake of big pharma "medicine".
They can try to shame me and shun me but IDGAF!! lol Good Luck to everyone, shit is getting crazy!

Very Based Post. But what if you had asthma? What would you do?

I'd suggest avoiding all your asthma triggers and eating an anti-inflammatory diet.

High blood pressure runs in my family, it's not something that can be fixed with diet and exercise. Pharma is shady af but not all medicines are bad.

A little exercise and garlic in your diet wouldn't hurt. My BP's running a bit high these days so I should heed this advice as well.

I love garlic, that's already a staple in my diet. I've noticed that my BP actually gets a little low if I drink tea, I assume because of its mild diuretic effect. Specifically Jin Xuan tea, milk oolong, although I don't know if that matters.

Agreed

SSRIs have fucked up my brain chemistry pretty badly. The promise of pills that made you feel better was alluring then but in hindsight, I should've settled for my own neurotic self.

It occurred to me that some people might not get the joke, but I posted it anyway.

I need opiates only about once every 4 to 7 years. Then big pharma and pill mill doctors fucked everything up. Very few doctors dare write an opiate prescription these days. I hope I don't need a root canal anytime soon.

If you can grow poppies in your garden you can make your own opium.

At least enough for one dose every 4 to 7 years.

[–]IkeConn 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

Opium poppies. Where do you get those seeds?

So you don't take aspirin, ibuprofen, Tylenol, etc when you're not feeling well?

[–]jet199Instigatrix 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

When I was a teenager I used to take a couple of paracetamol every day to deal with tension headaches from school.

This is really bad for you.

If you just deal with as much pain as you can or learn to look for the source and fix it then you build up a tolerance and don't need to reach for a pill at the slightest twinge.

Now I rarely use painkillers as painkillers. I use them for their other effects, ibuprofen for muscles spasms, paracetamol for colds, etc.

[–]Flicksener 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

Aspirin and etc aren't meant to be taken every day.

[–]Airbus320 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (5 children)

No

So you enjoy suffering unnecessarily then? What happens if you get a serious infection at some point in your life requiring antibiotics, are you just going to let it do permanent damage to your body or kill you out of, what, spite?

[–]Airbus320 2 insightful - 3 fun2 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 3 fun -  (3 children)

Maybe then I take a tiny dose of big pharma stuff :)

[–][deleted] 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (2 children)

Tylenol is acetaminophen, rather paracetamol there. Ibuprofen is ibumetin. Both of those are over the counter. There's alternative methods of dealing with pain (like not bitching out), but high fevers you might wanna die on. I don't really blame you for wanting to avoid them, but they're pretty great when you're in a panic over a kid's fever at 39.5°C or have a headache bad enough to send you into barf fits.

[–]Airbus320 2 insightful - 3 fun2 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 3 fun -  (1 child)

Yes, I agree. I almost never take any meds unless its really bad.

Isn't many painkillers bad for the liver, like paracetamol and stuff? Maybe if you overdose on it but still. Right now I just take some d3

[–][deleted] 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

Ibuprofen will wreck your stomach lining if you take too much, and you can't alternate it with naproxen like you can with acetaminophen/paracetamol during high fevers. If you use them infrequently, you should be relatively fine unless you have conditions that could end up exacerbated by it, or are taking a medication/supplement with it that alters the way that you absorb or filter it out.

Yeah and I don't breath air.
