So you don't take aspirin, ibuprofen, Tylenol, etc when you're not feeling well?

When I was a teenager I used to take a couple of paracetamol every day to deal with tension headaches from school.

This is really bad for you.

If you just deal with as much pain as you can or learn to look for the source and fix it then you build up a tolerance and don't need to reach for a pill at the slightest twinge.

Now I rarely use painkillers as painkillers. I use them for their other effects, ibuprofen for muscles spasms, paracetamol for colds, etc.

Aspirin and etc aren't meant to be taken every day.

So you enjoy suffering unnecessarily then? What happens if you get a serious infection at some point in your life requiring antibiotics, are you just going to let it do permanent damage to your body or kill you out of, what, spite?

Maybe then I take a tiny dose of big pharma stuff :)

Tylenol is acetaminophen, rather paracetamol there. Ibuprofen is ibumetin. Both of those are over the counter. There's alternative methods of dealing with pain (like not bitching out), but high fevers you might wanna die on. I don't really blame you for wanting to avoid them, but they're pretty great when you're in a panic over a kid's fever at 39.5°C or have a headache bad enough to send you into barf fits.

Yes, I agree. I almost never take any meds unless its really bad.

Isn't many painkillers bad for the liver, like paracetamol and stuff? Maybe if you overdose on it but still. Right now I just take some d3

Ibuprofen will wreck your stomach lining if you take too much, and you can't alternate it with naproxen like you can with acetaminophen/paracetamol during high fevers. If you use them infrequently, you should be relatively fine unless you have conditions that could end up exacerbated by it, or are taking a medication/supplement with it that alters the way that you absorb or filter it out.
