These big institutions that are science-based that still seem valued by our country are often run by morons, especially these days.

Hell, I did an internship through the Smithsonian ages ago and came down with a severe case of Lyme Disease, so I had to leave early. Instead of them recognizing that I was seriously ill they were butthurt af and acted like I was ruining them. These are science-based folks, they should know better.
