I agree. Building something is a lot more powerful than pointing out flaws. Pointing out flaws is easy. And understanding the problem is useful.

But at some point you have to start working toward something that is so good it makes the pre-existing way obsolete. And if you're not doing that, then what are you doing? Just complaining a lot? I get tired of people who simply complain about problems but never take any action or thought towards fixing those problems or building better solutions.

Couldn't agree with you more! An easy way to do that is to post insightful but not combative material to saidit, there's a lot of cool things to learn about where no one has to get mad, and fall back on tribalistic attitudes
