I've discovered that non-binary people are either women wanting attention or gay men not wanting to be labeled gay.

I've also found incels wanting to creep into women's spaces because that's as close as they are ever going to get to them.

From my time on Tumblr it seems to be a gateway to coming out as gay/lesbian. Of course nowdays being gay or lesbian is ~exclusionary so being nb may be a safer option for todays gnc teen.
