Man, I bet you could circumvent people's programming - just make some videos of their favourite celebrities talking about conspiracies - even if they KNEW it was a deepfake, something in them would still believe it.

And the inverse will also happen: Real videos will come out that show people guilty of crimes, and they will dismiss the videos with "oh those are just deepfakes"

It almost makes it so videos are no longer any more trustworthy than photographs, in this era of photoshop

They will become more believe what they want to believe.

But there are a rule still trustworthy: Don't trust the chimp you are not familiar with,this worked for hundreds of thousands of years. I found it absurd that modern human often believe the chimp from another group is their male leader/ female leader.

This must be the result of human selection.
