Hawt diggity dawg, windows 7! I still have w7 on my old machine!

This sure seems like a safer way to pirate as well.

You are observant. I have multiple machines, running different operating systems, as God has blessed me with more than I need, but this one does run Windows 7 as you noticed.

Windows 7 is great, runs rather fine today too.

I have a windows xp, I can do things with it but not too much, banking or something more serious is actually impossible with it, but youtube or downloading seems to work fine so far, I use Goanna browser.

I have like 3 laptops, 3 desktops, but I mainly use 1 laptop and desktop.

You can also be thankful for having more machines than you need. The bank website is also broken on some of my machines. The browser you mentioned is new to me.

Higher resolution of the same image

There is no WiFi at home. I try to minimize the amount of electromagnetic radiation where I live.

Our friend /u/Drewski told me about the script yt-dlp.exe - It works great!

Jesus would provide freedom to his people. He would prophesy and make his prophecies publicly available for free. He does not charge people money to hear him preach.

If you zoom in on the image, you could see what I was downloading.

Yes

Though perhaps he recalled Dad's: "You shall not covet your neighbor’s ISP bandwidth" (loose translation)

And his own second commandment was: "Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself"

If your neighbor welcomes you to use their WiFi, even calling it "free", then is any harm done?

If your neighbor welcomes you to take their Halloween candy from a large bucket, even calling it "free", and you take half of all the candy in the large bucket, while 20 children are behind you, to get some candy, then is any harm done?

I like your posts posts and comments, BTW, but my surprise here is the use of that much bandwidth in a free WiFi restaurant.

It's OK, but also reduces WiFi speed for everyone in that restaurant.

I've seen it happen.

I'd have a guilty conscience until the downloads were done.

Sometimes Halloween candy is laced with poison and an occasional razor blade. Children could actually be saved from harm or ill effects to their health if they had to do without the junk. Children do not need candy and most of it is unhealthy, like most of the stuff sold at McDonalds. People should pay attention to what they are eating.

Most people use WiFi to obtain junk food for their soul. They don't need it and would do well to slow down and think about what they are looking at and what they are listening to.

I don't feel guilty about downloading YouTube videos, especially when the content was clean. I saw no evidence that my download of some YouTube videos hurt anyone else's internet use. I don't know if anyone that night was even using the WiFi besides me. Don't most people these days do that at home or use their cell phones? I saw no one complaining. If I did, I would reconsider. If they asked me to leave, I would.

Here's another case for you to think about: People pay money to access the internet through their cell phone, connecting to the internet using radio waves and a cell phone tower. Cell phones basically use the same technology as WiFi. If you download large files through your cell phone, you could cause slower speeds for your neighbors that are using the same cell phone tower. The towers have a finite bandwidth that all the neighbors must share. Should people not use the cell phone towers to download videos if it causes their neighbor's speed to be slower? How do you judge that?

Michael David Crawford would download videos from McDonald's WIFI using his Macbook Pro. He was arrested for being a nuisance at McDonald's because he bogarted the bandwidth.

I have used free WiFi for many years and no one has ever given me any trouble. I'm not familiar with the man you named.
