I will never understand the insane level reverence people have for Tupac.

He's kinda bright for a rapper... but that's a pretty low bar. He's no great philosopher or political commentator. At least Biggie knew what he was.

I think if Tupac hadn't died and instead lived on into, what would he be now, 50-something? Then nobody would give a shit. There's something about dying young that makes people more likely to iconify you.

Absolutely right on the money, but then again no one is quoting Biggie, not that he has much that particularly worth quoting.
