No, not exactly. You're claim is that Unions are a pillow and I'm saying that it total and utter horse shit. Unions are self serving entities that don't give a fuck about the people they claim to represent other than dues and using their enrolled members as a bargaining chip to get a select few in the group a higher paycheck at the expense of everyone else in said group.

I'll agree that many unions have been corrupted and make for shitty expensive "pillows" but that's a mighty wide brush to call all unions utter horse shit. We both know that is false as some were and some are good for folks - otherwise they never would have taken off. The corporatocracy had to deal with them 100 years ago, and now they really know how to deal with most of them.

If 95% of unions are garbage then it's not that broad of a stroke to paint unions as bad now is it? I know they were needed in the past but they have morphed into the enemy of the people in modern times.

Unions weren't always this bad. They were infiltrated and corrupted and there was a MAJOR media campaign against them since Reagan/Thatcher and before. The concept is still good. A worker coop union could fair much better.

I wouldn't call them the enemy of the people. I would call unions a tool, and like any device or system it can be used for good or weaponized for evil.

There's a good reason Amazon and Walmart won't allow their workers to unionize. Because it's effective.

Every little helps to those with almost nothing.

The alternative is to bend over and accept whatever they want to give you, without lube or pillows.

It's effective at taking money from the companies but not at helping every member. I already said I understand that in the past they were necessary.

As I said, a thin shitty pillow. Usually better than nothing.

And im saying that no, at this point it isnt better than nothing because they are simply one more boot on the neck of working people.
