You are buying into and supporting the vile system as it is.

I want a different system and will try to be the change I want to see. That may include rewarding parents who raise good children who will be good productive citizens. That is not "valued" by society, yet it is critical. So too is soooooooooo much else. If people had more hobbies then they would be more self-reliant. They could grow their own food or make their own furniture or clothes or whatever - rather than depend on Chinese imports. And share/trade with neighbours. And help the environment in countless ways. That's not "valued" by our current society, and IMO it's just wrong.

Meritocracy is not a vile system, it is the most fair system ever created. Socialism is vile, it is based on theft, envy, and entitlement.

I am all for you paying others to do what they love. No one is stopping you. The problem is you want to force others to pay you to do what you enjoy. And somehow you have been convinced that you hold a morally superior view. You are no better than thieves who burglarize homes and cars so they can avoid having to work.
