The US kind of technically already declared war on Russia a couple times as well as threatening to nuke them, even for a potential cyber attack. I'd consider WW3 started, but just not kicking off yet.

You could see that coming a mile away when failures to restrict travels and making meaningful Covid reactions causes huge worldwide economic problems. I figure that is why we dumped our allies we invested hundreds of billions of taxpayer money in, with supplies, training, and weapons in Afghanistan, letting them be slaughtered.....we needed to free our hands up for a bigger reaching push on Russia in Ukraine, where we'd been pecking at their toes for decades.
