muslims have funny habits.. when entering a restroom, they put a specific foot thru the doorway first and when exiting the restroom they put the other foot thru the doorway first.

most people think they pray five times per day... nope, not true.. the shia sect of islam prays three times per day, while sunnis pray six times per day. isn't it odd that they can't all read their perfect religion book and figure out if they are supposed to pray three or five or six times per day?

also, muslims are instructed to be polite and passive to "non-believers" at least until they are the majority... at which time they will be able to kill the "non-believer" for trivial offenses.

if muslims are all reading the same holy book, then why are there more than seventy different sects of islam?

We are instructed to be polite to the non-believers IF they are polite to us. If they are hostile against us and hate us for our faith we are not even allowed to smile at them. It's clear what the correct understanding of Islam is, blame the progressive "Muslims" for wanting to do whatever they want and still be called Muslim. Obviously there will be people who want to use the religion to call to their cause. Even China does this.

It's not permissible to kill dhimmi non-Muslims so long as they pay their jizya, don't rebel against the state or insult the faith. Seems pretty easy to me, especially that the state will be giving away free electricity and water to all its citizens and interest is forbidden and the currency is gold so the value is always the same. When a legitimate Islamic state is established Westoids will beg to live there as dhimmis giving jizya, as their own society has clearly failed and it's all downhill for you with this woke nonsense.

I was drugged and robbed inside of a masjid.. i was sharing food with about a half dozen other muslim men.. when i ate my chicken, i passed out... when i woke up, the contents of my laptop bag had all been removed and replaced into the bag differently than how i pack it.. when i finally said something about this to the islamic society main office about a year later, they called me a liar and laughed at me.

i appreciate it.

So you blame all Muslims for what a group of people who attribute themselves to Islam did and therefore justify treating a bunch of teenage students unjustly ok.

[–]servant 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (13 children)

I don't remember saying that i blamed anyone for anything.. I did say that i was drugged and robbed inside of a masjid and that when i spoke about it a year later to the islamic society they only laughed at me and called me a liar... they told me that someone had stolen their shoes at the masjid once before.

i just can't go to prayer and i will not eat with them any more.

on judgement day, i only answer for my indiscretions and not for the crimes of others.

just fyi, now that you are aware of this situation... no matter what your response is... you will answer about this on judgement day.. because you will answer for every thought thru all of your life... and so will i.. this situation could cause every man that knew about this situation to taste hellfire.

it isn't my fault, i have tried my best to seek a correction to this situation according to sharia law.

According to sharia law the robbers hand would be cut and yet you still blame Islam for deeds of individuals that clearly go against the commands of the religion.

[–]fugitivepowpowpow 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (11 children)

the cutting of a hand would be for a basic premeditated theft, but this case also involved the drugging of a person using a narcotic while inside of a masjid. i am the one that was wronged.. i am the judge and jury..

my intent would be to find a way to help them to do better.. your way, so far, is to punish.

technically, this is an offense under sharia of the most severe kind..

[–]WhenImBanned 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (10 children)

Your laws don't deter crime. Effective laws stop the crime from happening in the first place while not going overboard. Nothing will solve crime unless the punishments prescribed by God are implemented. Again narcotics are haram, what they did to you is haram. Islam would have punished them even if you're not Muslim.

Sharia law isn't implemented anywhere. Not even Saudi Arabia.

Why are there also 45,000 christian denominations with 200 in the US? Remember when the protestants and catholics were killing each other in the UK over nearly identical interpretations? This is by no means unique to muslims

No one was killing each other in the UK over interpretations. It was over power.

Ok sure, but the two groups struggling for power were organized by and at odds over their interpretations of christianity, this is a pretty semantic point

[–]jet199 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (2 children)

What are the main differences in interpretation between Catholicism and Anglicanism, then?

What are the main differences in interpretation between Catholicism and Anglicanism, then?

Well I'd think as Brit you would know this better than I, but there are some differences. Protestants traditionally believe salvation is achieved solely through Jesus, while the Catholics include doing good works. Protestants also tend to believe solely in the authority of the bible, while catholics value religious tradition and say only the catholic scholars are fit to interpret the bible.

The Protestants also think worshipping Saints, such as Mother Mary, is a form of idolatry, while the catholics do not.

Protestant priests are not required to be celibate like Catholic priests

I seem to recall whether or not it was OK to get a divorce was something of an issue as well at one point

These would seem to be a few of their differing interpretations, but I am sure there are more that I am not aware of as I am not even a christian, and certainly no expert on this subject

Anymore they're forbidden to be celibate, because the "be fruitful and multiply" told only to the first people on the planet somehow overrides the praise given to celibacy everywhere else.

no need to answer my question with a question.. i was not asking a question about christianity. muslims are always saying that the quran has never changed and that it is a perfect book... so why is it that there are approx seventy different sects of islam and different sects pray different number of times per day?

also, if mohammad was a perfect man then why was he poisoned and murdered by a jewish slave girl that he had taken slave after killing many innocent jews?

try to answer the question without using christianity as an excuse or argument.

[–][deleted] 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (5 children)

muslims are always saying that the quran has never changed and that it is a perfect book...

Yeah christians say the same thing

try to answer the question without using christianity as an excuse or argument.

Why, your criticisms apply just as well to your own religion as the muslims, I am pointing out your absurd hypocrisy in criticizing muslims for things christians do too, truly pathetic, you should delete yourself again
