Just Launched maagnit.com - YouTube for News

Hi, maagnit.com is basically YouTube but for News. Just a ton of news videos, all categorized and tagged automatically. And the idea is to give a 360-degree overview of trending news topics.

I've been working on it for 3 months, and finally launched on January 1st, and thought it might be interesting to any video news fans here. You can see a sample of our pages here such as:

And many others on the site you can see from the homepage. It just aggregates all the videos around one topic. Well, let me know what you think. It's brand new and I'm definitely looking for feedback!

I love it, great start. I dig the non/bi-partisan angle, and the tagging system.

Feedback: too much scrolling text on mobile/tablet, it'd be better to at a glance see the top 5-10 trending topics instead of watching a scroller.

For accounts/sign up, you should make email optional. And someday I'd like to control the timespan that's considered for each topic, like choose from: latest, trending 4h, trending today, trending this week, trending this month.

I like the layout and site itself, very easy to navigate. Great job creating a bi-partisan site. This will definetly be my go to for first time viewing of current events.

I have to say that's a terrible name. :( hard to say, hard to remember the spelling to type in the browser, doesn't roll off the tongue like YouTube.
