Aren't most Jewish people white? I find it funny that some say they are ethnically Jewish. It's like saying I'm ethnically Christian.

When it's convenient for themselves to say they are white, they are. When it isn't, they're not.

Jewish is an ethnic group. It is detectable in DNA tests. It just so happens that this ethnic group may or may not actively practice a religion at the same time. There are plenty of atheist Jews. There are also converts to Judaism, like Sammy Davis Jr. But Jews aren't descended from the same line as Europeans.

Weren't ashkenzai jews european at one point in time? They were converts, but then they interbred and self isolated for the next 1000 years? If they were european, then they have no blood claim to the line of david and being true jews.

David was an Israelite, not a Jew, since Jewish identity only started with Ezra. Israelites were defined by membership to a religious nation, not defined by blood. David himself was a descendant of a Moabite - Ruth.

I think a different term/name would be in order for said ethnicity for added nuance.

They are so hated for their characteristics and behaviors that maybe it would help if their different name could be similar to "Likes"?

Ouch! For the record I harbour no ill will against Jewish people. I guess some aspects of Judaism are a bit repulsive and I thing organized religion as a whole with man-made arbitrary rules and traditions is stupid. There are Jewish thinkers, artists and musicians that I look up to while at the same time avoiding Jewish-produced Hollywood drivel that subverts everything like the plague. And the Zionist agenda of destroying western values and morals and tugging away at the fabric of society is quite prevalent in the mainstream media. But I try not to generalize. I've met some cool jews and Israelis that don't go along with that shit. Maybe I'm naive. I don't care. Addendum: Life is too short to be consumed with seething rage.
