Exactly, which is why societies with multiple all suck.

That's one of the parts I like about Russia, but too bad you disappear when you say the wrong thing.

The Japanese are probably as close as you can get. They've got their own set of problems, but they have fiercely guarded the monoethnicity of the islands. That this was not changed even after being genuinely crushed in WWII tells you how serious they are about "Japan is for Japanese".
