They failed to kill them? Like these "holocaust survivors"?

Well obviously if they are still alive to tell their stories, then yes, they are Holocaust survivors who the Nazis failed to kill. Or did you think they were zombies risen from the grave? 🙄

For somebody with such strong opinions about the Holocaust, you sure as hell don't know very much about it.

The Nazi party was in power from 1933 to 1945. That's twelve years in case you can't count. Things can and did change a lot in 12 years, and conditions varied hugely over that time. The Nazis built literally thousands of concentration and labour camps which varied greatly in their conditions depending on the purpose of the camp, who was in charge, and who the prisoners were.

• Some camps, intended for citizens of foreign powers that Germany did not want to offend, had relatively good living conditions.
• Theresienstadt was designed as a "model village" to deceive the Swiss Red Cross that prisoners in the concentration camps were being treated well.
• Camps with only Jews or Slavs were usually harsher than those with mixed populations.
• Camps designed for long-term imprisonment sometimes gave prisoners little luxuries to encourage compliant behaviour.
• Extermination camps did not since few people lived more than a few hours.
• There were only five extermination camps, where almost all the prisoners were murdered immediately on arrival, and they only ran for 18 months or so before the Nazis, worried that they were going to lose the war, shut them down and attempted to destroy the evidence.
• Most labour camps were intended to work the slave labour to death with hard physical labour on starvation rations, but a few had lighter duties and more survivors.
• Auschwitz was a complex of at least 40 individual camps, which varied greatly in their conditions.

The original concentration camp at Auschwitz was a former Polish army barracks consisted of permanent brick buildings. It held about 7000 prisoners. The extermination camp built at Auschwitz-Birkenau was very different. About a million prisoners went to Auschwitz-Birkenau and were murdered almost the moment they arrived. The third major camp at Auschwitz was the Monowitz labour camp, and it was used for slave labour for IG Farben. In order to increase productivity (very low due to the starvation rations) the camp set up a brothel that good workers could visit, and paid the workers a pittance that they could use to buy luxuries like cigarettes. The other smaller subcamps ranged in size from Kattowitz, which was run by the Gestapo and held ten prisoners, to Neu-Dachs which held about 3,500 prisoners.

In general, camps in occupied Poland were harsher than those in Germany. Conditions before the war started were generally not as harsh as during the war. Camps run by true-believer Nazi anti-Semites were much worse than those run by moderate commandants.

Why do you say that? Have I ever quoted Rosenblat? Nothing I have said relates to Rosenblat's fiction. He wrote a fictional romance set in a concentration camp and claimed that it was autobiographical. A foolish and stupid lie, but it wasn't Denialists who discovered the lie.
