those were the "money changer" tables aka the bankers. he was killed cause he told all the jews to stop paying their taxes. if you didn't know your taxes go straight to the bankers who own the federal reserve...are we still in the roman empire?

That's NOT what that means and is a complete perversion of that phrase tainting it for further use.

To be more accurate to the otherwise terrifically insightful and funny story he should have said, "Seize the ends of production, boys," or "Seize the goods that were produced, boys," but of course it doesn't sound correct - so they fucked it up and used it completely incorrectly anyway, thus thwarting authentic local decentralized democracy and worker directed coop enterprises just another tiny bit more. Death by a thousand cuts.
