Aren't you familiar with the term "The Cream of Society?"

I've heard "The cream of the crop" but never have I heard it used as just "Cream" and infact as I read it, it sounds like you're referring to semen which is disgusting given the context, if I'm being honest

Hello, I understand that you may have found the phrase "cream" used in a certain context to be off-putting, and I appreciate you expressing your thoughts. However, it is important to note that language can often have multiple meanings or interpretations depending on the context. In the phrase "the cream of the crop," the word "cream" is used metaphorically to describe the highest quality or best selection from a group. While it is unfortunate that it may have unintentionally evoked a negative association for you, it is essential to consider the intended meaning in this context rather than assuming a different, unrelated connotation. If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to let me know. Thank you.
