There was a study that suggested ashkenazi Jews were far more likely to have some kind of enzyme that helped provided resistance to the virus. I dont think any further studies were done on the subject(outside of top secret ones in Israel), but it is a little suspicious and makes one recall earlier efforts by the Israelis to create bioweapons that targeted Arabs. I don't know if covid was created in an Israeli bioweapons lab and then later released into Wuhan in order to frame the Chinese, but I certainly wouldn't rule it out. Of course even if it was true no one would ever be allowed to objectively research such a thing.
