I am not addressing this in my comments. I am addressing the problems of the economically disadvantaged, of all ethnicities, in all countries.

Many of the world's immigrants are poor and grew up in places where there is a rape culture and general abuses of women, and it should be a requirement of their new country to provide training and legal processes that will ensure the safety (as much as possible) of women in the new country.

(Pick any group that might belong to your ethnic background, but includes rape culture, and you'd not think you were racist. Read again: the issue is economic, not ethnic.)

I hope you'll realize that my comments - copied here - are not about specific ethnic groups.

It's sad that responses to my original comment are only addressing racist ideas, rather than economic hardship.

You responded to an article with findings on non-swedish immigrants committing the majority of rape. Your excuse is that it's economic hardship, and that's repulsive considering how many benefits these people receive from the countries that they go into. This also dismisses the fact that rape isn't just an issue among the impoverished or economically challenged from those countries. It's systemically accepted, rich through poor
