I watched Dune last night. Surprisingly it wasn't terrible. Fight scenes were top notch.

Try to watch it with good video and sound. I was using a crappy monitor and shit download and regret it because the cinematography and set design were very good. I prey all the capeshit cucks don't ruin the franchise by hugging it to death. There was some globo homo shit. I did not like chani or black Liet Kynes. The Fremen were also seemingly multi racial. Javier Bardem didn't have many lines but held his own as Stilgar.

I am guessing it is markedly inferior to Blade Runner 2049, which I regard as a masterpiece arguably on par with the original.

I agree. 2049 is indeed a masterpiece.
