Anyone want to 'debate' this spin on what happened? If so, look at the other stories about the rape. Do they mention, "black man..." in the title? No, because that's not the important bit. For example:

‘No One Did Anything': Woman Raped on SEPTA Train and Riders Didn't Call 9-1-1, Police Say

A woman on a SEPTA train was sexually assaulted while other riders failed to intervene, authorities say

Train riders held up phones as woman was raped, SEPTA police say

Thus rather than follow the race-bating hatred on Ron Unz's extreme right wing propaganda rag, see that the real news about this is that the public should have felt emboldened enough to try to stop or interfere with what was happening. Regarding 911, I am not sure it was easy to get a signal underground for one to call 911. This would normally be a post for /s/news, rather than DAR.

The people filming instead of helping or calling 911 is because of black no snitching culture. You realize that yes?

black no snitching culture

I don't have to know what this is, nor does anyone else have to know. And I don't know and don't care. The broader question is about the way of potentially helping a person who is being attacked, if that's possible (rather than filiming it).

    Not important, Yin

But she's answering your question, socks. Fear of retaliation.

However, the article said he had his home address down as a homeless shelter iirc. If that's true, perhaps people didn't help because they just didn't give a shit.

Sometimes I think he enjoys being intentionally obtuse.

Still though, all those people and not a damn thing done. Is China sending autism along with the rest of their poorly regulated goods?

I want to believe it's simple trolling. Maybe it's not autism but some combo of retardation and too much chewing on globalist-branded toxic plastic toys.

      Fear of retaliation.

Yes - that part I agreed is important, here.

My response to the remaining portion of that answer is what seems to have triggered this back and forth regarding hostility. I argue that there are potential additional ways of intervening, even if that means finding a cop or additional help, or yelling, or whatever, rather than video a rape of an unconscious person.

I can think of an excellent way that it could have been resolved, but I'll get the fly swatter for advocating v-olen-e

Edit: I didn't know that adding asterisks in place of random letters just makes it look spelled incorrectly and italic.
