After COVID, the economy tanked and Bolsonaro's approval took a hit. This and Trump's ousting have made Bolsonaro's political situation very fragile. The media as well as institutions such as the corrupt supreme federal court (whose members were almost all appointed by the previous leftist governments) were emboldened to launch a final assault against him and his supporters. Right-wingers are being persecuted and jailed and censorship both by the supreme court and social media companies is running rampant. The judiciary branch has effectively taken control of the government by issuing unconstitutional rulings and Bolsonaro is powerless. Brazil being a banana republic and the congress being an amorphous corrupt mess means there is no check to judiciary overreach. The globalist media is cheering them on and calling opponents of the judiciary branch terrorists and anti-democratic.

The rallies focused mostly on attacking the supreme court, demanding freedom of speech and supporting Bolsonaro ahead of the 2022 election, when the establishment's plan is to install criminal ex-president Lula, who would suck the dicks of both the globalists and China and implement every single pozzed agenda. It's estimated that 30% of Brazil's military police have been to the protests. The military is also fairly based and usually defends the president. That is probably his best shot at keeping power, to do as the bolsheviks and seize it by force, although unlikely.

The brazilian media is going insane at the moment. Most outlets are not even reporting on the crowds or minimizing them and hiding their size, while focusing on anti-government protests by maskers and communists. After yesterday, congress, the governors and judiciary are panicking and possibly about to move to either impeach Bolsonaro or make him ineligible to run. Such enormous crowd sizes must be sending chills down their spine.

To sum up, I think Bolsonaro's situation is very similar to Donald Trump's. Except Bolsonaro has more balls. Yesterday he repeated he will either be killed or win the next election. He also issued an order banning censorship by social media companies. Bolsonaro and his supporters are better than Trump and MAGA in almost every way, but the country is in a much worse state and there is no such thing in Brazil as the GOP or FOX News. The institutions are totally leftist, of the worst kind you can imagine. The mass of people he can mobilize and to some extent his military support are the only things that still keep him afloat.

In what way? He seems to be another charlatan like Trump who's passionate support is a reaction to the passionate hate he gets from the Left and media in a very divided country.
