Do NOT do anything rash or stupid. The most important thing you can be doing right now is TALKING with people.

Totally agree. Everyone should be reaching out to their friends, family, neighbors if they can. Reconnect with acquaintances you think might share your values. Look into normie conservative or libertarian groups in your area if you have to, even someone who is only partially aware is better than nobody.

Doing rash or stupid things does not help, never has.

Start hording meat, water, pasta

We should work on a prepper guide for the best stuff to buy that is inexpensive, lasts a long time, and provides a nutritionally complete diet.

Learning how to operate a radio and having contingency plans for water and power outages will be critical. Knowing bodies of water near you.

Also a guide for basic water filtration and collection systems at the very least.

Power is important but a bit more complicated. Maybe make friends with someone who owns solar panels or a generator. Of course, cars can be used in a pinch with the right adapter, but gasoline will likely be in short supply.

Consider digging into the posts and books that cover these incoming scenarios.

We need more good resources on this, but most importantly, we need them to be stickied or at least listed in the sidebar. Otherwise threads like these are lost after a few days.

Also, thanks for the ending whitepill about living in interesting times.

On the rodeo circuit it's a well known fact that you'll never really know what kind of bull rider you are if you don't get a challenging bull.

There's a great wealth of survival info online already.

Yep. The only problem is that it's not aggregated, it's distributed all over the place.
