SS: The "war on terror" is slowly morphing into a "war" against the historic American nation.

As part of the US hegemon, my own country New Zealand is following the same playbook. In the wake of the Christchurch shooting the Ardurn government is tightening hate speech regulations and has expanded the security budget to monitor so called 'right wing extremists' despite admitting they haven't managed to find anyone advocating violence.

Also like the US they are going to pay private left wing Marxist organizations to monitor the Internet.

From what I gather the same thing is happening in Australia, Britain, and Canada. Where the US leads the Anglosphere follows — as many others have pointed out the real struggle is between local comunities and a global economic system.
