Kerry Bolton makes the same points regarding New Zealand in his article Imposing Aroha. He points out that the only organized 'terrorist' activities have come from Muslims and the left, yet it is an extreme left wing organization that is helping the government with its guidelines (while also receiving funding to do so).

Personally I miss the old days when such acts of folly were treated with good humor (and a bit of gentle ridicule) by the populace — at the time there was enough social cohesion that no-one really got too upset at self styled anarchists or Maori separatists firing guns and throwing Molotov cocktails in the mountains.
