Alt lite = make fun of progressivism. usually libertarians, classic liberals, skeptics, atheists etc. this is a subculture online meme thing without any positive goals, they just have the negation of dumb shit

alt right = pro-white and jq. its positive ideas are advocating for whites against finance/jewry/capitalism

then theres the half in half out area of like nick fuentes where he clearly knows about the jq and stuff but hes still doing pro-GOP and alt lite stuff

Nick Fuentes being 75% white, I would imagine someone who isn't fully white can't be alt-right anyway.

IIRC Nick's hispanic ancestry is mostly just a meme. He has like one Cuban grandparent and they were a Criole. "Hispanic" is not really a race. It can describe any population with a varying degree of white/amerindian/black ancestry that speaks a Latin language. Cuba is one of the whitest latin countries

Also - Fuentes has tried to take a position between the Alt-Lite and the Alt-Right where he is more anti-immigration, more into race-realism, and criticizes Jewish power - but won't go as far as most of the AR. Maybe a distinction without a difference, but he's probably.more Alt-right than Alt-Lite

Nick is a grifter to contain people by mentioning the JQ occasionally. His goal is GOP infiltration. Game is rigged from the start. He's more interested in being an e-celeb than anything. The Groyper war was entertaining but ultimately built no political capital, he got too caught up in making it a spectacle.
