I think Tracey and Dore are just genuine liberals who are honest enough to criticize their own side.

Probably had a lot to do with both of them spending time around the TYT machine as well. That, I imagine, would be enough to convince anyone of the cynical side of leftism. If you spend more than a year around Chunk Ugger and don't become a self-critical liberal or critic of the left then I don't think you can claim to have a soul.
