I've got tattoos myself, and I see nothing wrong with it. Considering plenty of traditional societies used tattooing for various purposes, it's hardly a modernist fad, it's just another victim of Capitalist Consumerism (something PJW supports, by the by). PJW is a Boomer-Tier Neo-Con, and a pretentious faggot (I thought that it was public knowledge he was gay, seems like everyone forgot) desperately trying to stay relevant despite the fact all his viewers moved on to us. He's on the same level as Sargon.

What's wrong with something being modern?

By modernism I mean a tendency nowadays to assume that we are enlightened compared to those who came before. Could be I used the term incorrectly. Tattoos used to symbolize something, they represented a never-ending dedication to an ideal or ones people or culture. Similar aspects of that can be seen today, for example, Russian Bratvas are modern, and members sometimes get matching tattoos to symbolize eternal brotherhood.

Nowadays it has been infected by Nihilism and people get shit that means nothing.
