No he wouldn't. Anything you take as "conservative" in his rhetoric ("He mentions God!") would be paradigm shifted to reflect contemporary far-left ideology. Because he was a communist. His organization was run and his speeches were written by a communist. MLK was not a conservative and he was never a Republican.

If MLK were alive today, he'd be baying about "white supremacism", inveighing against the fascism of MAGA and fully participating in cancel culture. While leading BLM riots.

He'd be appealing to have you removed from social media. He'd be at no risk of himself being removed.

No he wouldn't.

He was marginalized in the time because he was an enemy of the political establishment, just like trump.

he'd be baying about "white supremacism"

HE talked about people being equal, but we know that in his time he talked about "the white moderate" who he would actually be talking about today, because they still exist. People on the left who claim to be for progress, but say "now is not the time for change" when people want to improve their life situations through politics.

"MLK would have recognized the Capitol riot as the white supremacy"

This is what some dumbass mainstream writers are saying, sounds kinda like your opinion, too.

inveighing against the fascism of MAGa

Uhm, its pretty obvious you havent read a single thing about king, this is a combination of fakelib bullshit and rightwing fearmongering about da scary black mahn.

"Black supremacy is as dangerous as white supremacy... god is not interested merely in the freedom of black men and brown men and yellow men, "... god is interested in the freedom of the whole human race

Go on...

He'd be appealing to have you removed from social media.

"...and the creation of a society where all men will live together as brothers"

😂

He'd be at no risk of himself being removed.

🤔🤔🤔

Terrible post, I would almost downvote it. Dont post stuff when you haeve no idea wtf the person stands for dude.

MLK wasn't marginalized. MLK was upheld by the establishment.

Since you take the left at their word for what they say in speeches, you have no cause to suggest that Trump is marginalized in the present by the establishment:

Biden reached out to those voters who supported President Donald Trump, telling the crowd of supporters: “They are not our enemies. They’re Americans.”

“This is the time to heal in America,” he said.

“I will work to be a president who seeks not to divide but unify. I won’t see red states and blue states, I will always see the United States.”

These strategically posed sentiments in MLK's speeches were written by a communist named Stanley Levinson, who quit the CPUSA to run King's organization.

Just as the far-left shot of the 60s was to gently persuade the White majority to relinquish power via appeals to their consciences, a time-transposed MLK would be today doing BLM shit.

People to your left and right are telling you you're wrong because you're wrong.

If Martin Luther King Jr. were alive today, he would be marching with antifa and BLM.

    Source for that claim?

Nope. He would be as banned as Joe Biden because MLK would be getting inaugurated on the 20th.

The only thing King ever did or said that would get him banned today was his criticism of Israel, and maybe his alleged tolerance of his entourage abusing women, and King himself possibly sexually harassing women.

Malcolm X however would be straight up banned and deplatformed because of his criticism of Jewish power and his message of black self reliance.

It's more on-the-nose than you think:

“peace for Israel means security, and we must stand with all our might to protect its right to exist, its territorial integrity. I see Israel as one of the great outposts of democracy in the world, and a marvelous example of what can be done, how desert land can be transformed into an oasis of brotherhood and democracy. Peace for Israel means security and that security must be a reality.”

The only thing King ever did or said that would get him banned today

I had hoped that the white moderate would understand that law and order exist for the purpose of establishing justice and that when they fail in this purpose they become the dangerously structured dams that block the flow of social progress. I had hoped that the white moderate would understand that the present tension in the South is a necessary phase of the transition from an obnoxious negative peace, in which the Negro passively accepted his unjust plight, to a substantive and positive peace, in which all men will respect the dignity and worth of human personality. Actually, we who engage in nonviolent direct action are not the creators of tension. We merely bring to the surface the hidden tension that is already alive.

    and...

We will have to repent in this generation not merely for the hateful words and actions of the bad people but for the appalling silence of the good people.

He'd get banned for this, or...

You speak of our activity in Birmingham as extreme. At first I was rather disappointed that fellow clergymen would see my nonviolent efforts as those of an extremist.

He's defending protests that would be called riots by todays radicalized news anchors. He would be calling out the propo that said the capitol trumpers were practicing treasonous activities.

Oppressed people cannot remain oppressed forever. The yearning for freedom eventually manifests itself, and that is what has happened to the American Man. Something within has reminded him of his birthright of freedom, and something without has reminded him that it can be gained.

This could apply 100% to those trumpers in washington last week.

If one recognizes this vital urge that has engulfed the American community, one should readily understand why public demonstrations are taking place. The American Man has many pent up resentments and latent frustrations, and he must release them. So let him march; let him make prayer pilgrimages to the city hall; let him go on freedom rides -and try to understand why he must do so. If his repressed emotions are not released in nonviolent ways, they will seek expression through violence; this is not a threat but a fact of history.

Twitter would COMPLETELY ban him for having these kinds of opinions, but Twitter didn't exist in the 70's.

You listed a number of quotes of MLK promoting and justifying proto-BLM rioting.

Where have you seen anyone cancelled or banned for promoting and justifying BLM rioting?

MLK would also have been a more controlled asset.

If Martin Luther King Jr. were alive today, Big Tech would have ignored him IF he was a "fringe" limited hangout, within limits, and/or controlled (like Jimmy Dore, Chomsky, Assange, Snowden, etc).

If MLK were alive today, Big Tech would have censored him off their centralized popular platforms - IF he were considered "fringe", uncontrolled, AND effective.

If MLK were bigger than fringe and impossible for the "mainstream" corporate media to ignore or control they'd apply "dynamic silence" to actively discredit and demonize him.

Big Tech would have ignored him IF he was a "fringe" limited hangout

The March on Washington was a massive protest march that occurred in August 1963, when some 250,000 people gathered in front of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington,... It was also the occasion of Martin Luther King, Jr.’s now-iconic “I Have A Dream” speech.

If MLK were alive today, Big Tech would have censored him

    THis one ^

If it were today, the establishment would have him delivering that speech from behind the unscalable fencing under protection of the NG while warning about imaginary MAGA Terrorist threats against him.

Why oh why does bullshit like this get attention on Saidit?

MLK would lead the BLM movement. He might get teargassed by cops. He'd probably be a Congressperson.

MLK would lead the BLM movement.

Make a source for that idea.

He was actually a horrible human being who: cheated on his wife up to 40+ times, raped women in orgies he held at his hotel, was supported by a gay communist operative, had a letter from the FBI urging him to kill himself in 1964 or he'll be exposed.

Also the government is pledging to finally release the tapes they wiretapped in his hotel room by 2027, stop idolizing this man he was Satan incarnate.

If he were alive today without the "branding" that is his name, he'd certainly be canceled.

The right tends to have the MLK approach to racism. Judge by content of character, not color of skin. While the left explicitly states not judging by skin color is their new redefined version of racism.

Martin Luther Coon would be paraded around as a "great man" like Nelson Mandela, his communist brother back in the homeland.
