Such as:

Other states had plenty of problems, but they were mostly for not explaining serious potential side effects when showering the inmates with niceties.

This reminds me of when Hillary Clinton said "17 intelligence agencies" confirmed that Russia hacked the DNC emails of Podesta's GMail. She did this at the final debate in Las Vegas on Oct. 19, 2016.

“We have 17, 17 intelligence agencies, civilian and military who have all concluded that these espionage attacks, these cyber attacks, come from the highest levels of the Kremlin. And they are designed to influence our election. I find that deeply disturbing,” Clinton

The report was made by 3 agencies, but on Oct. 7, the DHS and DNI had put out a joint statement on behalf of all.

It stated that Russia usually meddles in elections, that they had noticed some activity that year, and they mostly just assume it was Russians, based on the "methods and motivations of Russian-directed efforts." Standard gaslighting; basically,' we don't know they did it, but it sounds like something they'd do.'

https://www.dhs.gov/news/2016/10/07/joint-statement-department-homeland-security-and-office-director-national

Julian Assange revealed to Sean Hannity in an interview that Podesta's email password was "password". Every corporate news agency immediately called that "unfounded", a "lie", and "without evidence"....all doing so without evidence and in contradiction to the one person who might actually know and have evidence of it, having received the leak at Wikileaks.

Later on, New York Times got the in-bed-scoop from DNC staff, that many staffers had the password, it was a simple one, and that a warning claimed a Ukrainian IP had accessed the account, but it was a phishing mail and a staffer logged in with the password.

If it's true, it's one, lone pos that should absolutely feel the full brunt of Columbian law. Throw him out of the US service and let the Columbian court try and sentence him. Kirsch recognizes the flagrant wrongness of Covid policy from the beginning, and with that knowledge he continues to do a lot.

But I'm intrigued by his insistence that the basis of these policies is pure incompetence.

I wonder what he thinks about the plagiarized studies attacking the early treatments he was promoting. Those studies show intent, not incompetence.

Lots of flavors of wrong in this mess. Unfortunately, we get hung up arguing with each other when the first step is far more important than any of these arguments: STOP THE SHOTS NOW!!!

We can figure out debates like "Incompetence or Intent" later.

Which is a threat.

The flat way he says it is remarkable.

Also interesting is that this comment of "Well, he's dead" comes in response to the question from the interviewer, "Is there a lesson, for you, for anyone else looking at this?"

The subtext is: Obviously, if you pose a threat to those of us who are actually powerful, you die. Very factual - this is an obvious cause and effect for him. It's the non-dramatic manner in which he utters this threat that I find far more terrifying than some dramatic music menacing voice. In his mind, [A -> B], if you remotely represent a threat to us, you die. Nothing personal, no big deal.

Though I'm still not totally convinced Epstein actually is dead. The sexual slavery ring he was the face of is absolutely NOT dead. It's still up and running. Last I heard, it was taken over by one of the girls who was originally brought in as chattel. Sometimes the victims of abuse become the most powerful abusers themselves, depending how their personality reacts to the events they experience. I've also heard - and find plausible - that Maxwell was his superior from the beginning. Epstein was her screen, the one appearing to the outside world so she (the real power) remained one degree protected. She's alive, he's dead (officially at a minimum, perhaps in reality). Food for thought there.

Evil is ascendant in today's west. It won't last forever; nothing ever does. But the global power structure of today's world (binding the power structures of all the individual countries, what they share in common) is thoroughly and completely evil.

To simplify, the cards must be activated first. If you buy them at a register, the register activates part and loads the money, so you can just steal a stack of blanks and get anything. .... yet, the back of the card has a big sticker with activation instructions. You must go online or call the phone number to activate the card. They probably want your name and address at minimum, as they are pressured by the government for Know Your Customer laws. Some cards even from banks, may allow setting most of that up ahead of time, but they usually still require an initial activation, by using it at an ATM with you pin code (just check balance is all that is required).

Credit cards are super insecure and mostly the way they are to collect your info and spy on your purchases, so they make you jump through hoops. The companies eat literally $100's of millions per hour in fraud, rather than using something more modern and secure.

Did you make sure the store activated them? At the store they are no good until activated by the cashier so if you ran off with 200$ Visa cards they won't work. HOWEVER even when activated their website is broken not showing the amount but take it to a grocery store like Roths IGA and buy a candy bar or deli food for a small amount they'll look into what you have. You can also get fast food gift cards too if you want to pay for it that way and I've even seen gas cards for certain gas stations or even a general gas card that works for many brands you put your own amount onto from your bank onto that.

Every conversation about every issue you want to discuss only in terms of partisanship and turn it into this same conversation about how republicans are more bad than democrats. I'm happy to talk about monetary policy or fiscal issues, but you have a tendency to derail conversations. Just in this thread, the comment I made first you agreed with - it was strictly about banking, FDIC and crytocurrency, and I did not mention parties. I was attempting to show the OP that this was not a DNC attack on libertarians, and that we are witnessing nothing new. Yet you felt compelled to write me a long paragraph about how its all the republicans fault, prompting a response from me about this, and diverting the conversation into one about partisanship. This would not be a big deal, but you literally do this in every conversation on every thread. I am not meaning to insult you, I understand you want to talk about this, but the way you turn every conversation into this topic does derail the discussions and gets as tiresome as the right-wingers who also only want to talk about how bad the Dems are, when what I want to discuss are these fiscal and economic issues, not have a freaking republican vs democrat debate, I get quite enough of that from MSM.

We agree on a lot of issues, I am happy to discuss them, even the ones we don't agree about, but I am not interested in having debates with you about republicans vs democrats anymore, this conversation always goes nowhere, yet we regularly end up here regardless of what the original topic was

I want to debate what is good policy and why, not who is doing it worse and which group is more bad

It's strange that you'd compare my opinions with those of someone who is so often wrong.

You are both making essentially the same argument I would sum up as follows:

"The economic problems are not systemic bipartisan issues, its all the fault of the other side who are bad and wicked, and the solution is to defeat them in partisan warfare so my ideology can have complete control and hang any traitors who might disagree, which of course will solve all economic problems, and it's all a sinister plot by the evil bad guys on the other side to destroy the country"

You are both selectively blind to your own party fucking you with bad economic policy

OP is a troll that is rage-baiting for responses, and he is wrong as you say, but I think both of you are projecting your own ideologies and seeing this as a partisan issue, when our monetary policy hasn't been that different under either party. Yes, the few people trying to pass private reforms are usually democrats, but the majority of the democratic party was complicit in weakening the regulations that led to the 2008 crisis. If we are talking about the massive and irresponsible printing of money that should have caused our currency to inflate and lose value, but is instead trashing the Euro thanks to our petrodollar status, you can look at both parties. In fact the Republicans have been the ones trying to stop some of the outrageous spending that requires more cash printing, as they are usually running on fiscal responsibility of government spending, although as you say, they are weak on regulating private business, but both parties are engaging in irresponsible policy making, as the entire system is corrupted by the donations of these wealthy bankers and financial fraudsters. Democrats spend irresponsibly, and republicans refuse to regulate private industry, both are bad economics, and I don't think we get anywhere viewing this as a partisan issue rather than a systemic problem, even though I myself am usually pretty left wing on economic issues

Well, your money has never been safe in financial establishments, as none of them have ever actually had the cash on hand to cover all the deposits. FDIC insurance money is also funded by a paltry $100 Billion reserve, not even enough to send weapons to Ukraine, let alone cover the losses of a serious financial collapse. This just accomplished killing non CBDC crypto, so they can usher in their new CBDC

The amount of money we have printed is causing consumer price inflation, but internationally the dollar is not inflating, as it is being propped up by its forced petrodollar status, but we may crater the economies of half the world as this cost is offloaded onto them. I think you are right that a collapse is coming, but it won't start here, although this will have devastating effects due to our dependence on global supply chains. I'd look to the E.U. to fall to their knees before the U.S. though, not that this is a great consolation prize

Only problem is, NDAs don't apply to covering up criminal acts.

Thats not quite right. NDA's "cannot be enforced if the contracted activities are illegal". They can be, and are often used to prevent lawsuits from victims of illegal acts, by offering them money to shut-up and never bring it to trial. These are still legally binding, as the contract compels them to shut up, and they are not themselves contracted to do illegal activity.

This NDA would only be invalid if he was coerced as he claimed

He's right about this. We tend to think of religion as being about god. But it's possible for an atheist who doesn't believe in the existence of a deity to be a religious person. And there really is no such thing as an irreligious society.

Humans will rally around something and give it a kind of divine status. It's in our nature. And it's common for us to do it around leaders. It's a way we socialize and comprehend abstract ideas and structures that aren't immediately relevant at our individual level of consciousness.

The church is as much an implement of state power as the state is an implement of moral power. It's a fairly novel idea to separate these into separate power structures and has really only taken hold in western society over the last couple of centuries.

However the act of worship is something that all humans do. And even when you remove the church, and the increasingly secular nature of western spcieites is seeing decrease in church attendance, the social worship phenomenon simply takes other forms. Activism, protests, rallies, all are humans gathering around something or someone and performing a kind of group lamentation, a prayer if you will, but they are praying to the state or to leadership or simply to the ideals of humanism rather than towards any deity in particular.

It's somewhat interesting to me, how in American society many will take a deeply christian identity and say they won't worship any God except God himself. Yet they have no issues with the American phenomenon of flag worship, indeed they tend to want the schools to make their children say the American prayer to the flag each morning. They stand in silence and attention to displays of over military patriotism at sporting events and the like. And at no point do they stop to think that perhaps they have made the state into a false idol of sorts. Truly a fascinating culture.
