Asking questions definitely qualifies for debate.

Trigger notifications aren't on the Pyramid of Debate. They can infact stifle or prevent healthy debate.

They are suppressive and should be abolished.

Are you going to answer my question? Yes, or no? If you do not respond one way or the other, then I'll assume you are defaulting to the hypocrite notion.

No, I am not ignoring your "formal" request (that isn't, in fact, formal by any stretch of the definition). However, I am no longer assuming good faith. Your refusal to have a decent conversation on the matter is showing.

Please address the points I have written, and not this tangent where you attack my character and motives, as if defeating me as a person means that what I am saying is wrong and stupid.

And please don't start tone-policing again.
