Stony Brook University was recently awarded a $700,000 grant from the New York State Education Department, which it plans to use to increase diversity in K-12 leadership.

The program seeks to “integrate” diversity and inclusion into K-12 schools, both in leadership and beyond.

Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, has created a new funding opportunity ($300,000) for faculty to research different projects in the areas of racial and social justice.

The University of Richmond (UR) in Virginia recently received a 625K grant from the Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) to “study barriers to student inclusivity.”
