Big pharmaceutical companies have brought a lot of good and a lot of bad to the world. Super mixed bag. A complicated subject you would doubtlessly oversimplify.

But that's not really what the thread is about. The thread is about whether we're being forced to get vaxxed. And from where I stand, the answer is: obviously not. Maybe people were trying to pressure everyone into it last year, but now, literally nobody gives a shit whether I get jabbed.

Yeah, your social media dashboard lights up when the topic is Big Pharma. I used to post about Pfizer being caught lying again and I'd get swarmed by 9+ of you people all posting in the same thread, defending them.

I literally don't even know what a "social media dashboard" is. Maybe you call saidit "social media." I don't. It's functionally identical to the USENET, only smaller, and no one called that "social media."

To deny history is wild, where were you during COVID? And if you can't remember when it was mandated and many doctors and nurses were forced to quit/resign or be fired, how can anyone trust a word you type. Honestly it should be a litmus test and they just ban you from the internet.

Whether we were being forced to get vaxxed, and whether we are being forced to get vaxxed, are two separate questions.

Obviously I can remember when people were being forced out of their jobs because they didn't trust the shot. And I objected to it.

But now it's over. And it's dishonest to suggest that it's still the way things are working.

Americans have the attention spans of fruit flies, and what seemed like an existential issue a year ago is now just... over and done.
