Sund believed officials were aware of the January 6 U.S. Capitol insurrection before it happened and covered it up.

Yeah, no shit - tump was warned that it would kick off many times, and ignored the warnings.

For example when trump asked that the metal detectors be removed from his speaking location, so that the armed mob could be closer to him.

Or, another example, how trump asked to be driven to the capitol so that he could be present for the armed riot he'd just stoked with his speech. Another indicator that the executive had fore-knowledge of what would happen.

This is only a surprise to the idiots who didn't pay attention during the Jan 6th hearings.

If you want someone punished for allowing Jan 6th to take place even though the government had foreknowledge - then, congrats, trump has been indicted and was before a judge to answer for that EXACT CHARGE yesterday

Trump said to the protestors to keep protesting peacefully.

They had no weapons, yet somehow the media hated this protest but loved the "mostly peaceful" BLM riots.

By the way, they haven't release the tapes yet have they?

The indictement is entirely political. Business associates from Biden are doing the investigation. We have seen Biden has done worse yet no prosecution.

After some of the sting operations that have been exposed in the news, I wouldn't be surprised to find very few non-law enforcement in the January 6th insurrection. Remember the Detroit PD sting that revealed all the 'criminals' were cops from different precincts? Both precincts had been running sting operations and they caught each other.
