Why was there ever an NPR in the first place. Well it's non profit but gets its funds from the govt, same thing really as propaganda and CIA runs all news rooms, this is just blatant.

alot of the advertisers that promote these news organizations don't want someone grounded & central. no news agency is gonna pick an anchor over sponsorships. Its a shame. brands simply will make more money if they cater to one side or the other, polarizing the listeners.

As we see in the essay, Berliner wants to promote misinformation on NPR. He's pissed that they've avoided the misinformation since 2019. But they've always avoided misinformation. It's time for him to move on, which is perhaps why he wrote the essay. He's reached retirement age, has been offered a way out, and will soon work instaed for a company that spreads misinformation. He would have known that NPR would potentially suspend him for spreading misinformation about the company.

This dude has been retweeting Maher's posts. She's obviously a poor choice if they're looking for an unbiased CEO at NPR who will be impartial.

If NPR is to be a far left organization it shouldn't receive public funding.

I think it's far too much pro-government (not far left) which is why they fired Bob Edwards. By European standards, NPR is bipartisan.

He was suspended for 5 days, the official reason for failing to secure permission for outside work.
