So the operator could have provide more helpful info for a concussed old dude but her staying on the line was not critical otherwise.

The medics were not bothered by my rants and agreed - or seemed to - and their treatment of Todd was not hindered or delayed. I made sure that Todd was always top priority.

Here's a photo of the ambulance and 4 cop cars parked on the street for a while filling out paperwork. I went to talk to the ambulance couple a little more to thank them, forgot to get their photo, and didn't get a photo of the other 2 cop cars that showed up making it a long line, almost comical for the over-response. I said it was 10-20 min, but maybe it was only 5-10 min response - or maybe my drunk assessment was more accurate.

I didn't talk to a single cop and had no interest to do so, especially when emotionally charged and very under the influence.

I spoke to Todd about noon to make sure he's still alive. While the head cut understandably hurts a bit, he doesn't have bad swelling or anything too painful there. However he said that he really fucked up his back. He already had a fucked up back and hadn't been playing golf for a few weeks. He also guesses that he fell due to one or two reasons. He's had a bum knee go out on him several times at work (which he finally retired from in March with the COVID thing, at aged 68 I think). He thinks that was the primary thing. And maybe it was slippery socks. He was more blitzed than I was so his recollection is foggy.

My morning was a little rough around the edges but water helped as usual.

Thanks for the interest. I didn't expect anyone would even see this post.
