Queer is a slur. Stop using it.

it is my observation that homosexuals cant seem to decide what is acceptable to them and what is not acceptable to them. For example, one time i made a comment to gay person where i commented something about his "lifestyle", and he about came unscrewed telling me that being gay is not a lifestyle and that being gay is something that you are born with..

and then, regarding your claim that the term "queer" is a slur, i slightly disagree and i am fairly well versed in these topics since i have grown up around quite a few queer men, and they regularly call each other "queer"..

Nothing you said changes the fact that unless you are using it to describe yourself or have explicit permission to by someone to use it in regards to them, you shouldnt be using the term.
