Y'know, I really don't mind most marine mammals.

Your op names what you see as a problem.

We are all aware that none of us have agency or standing to make any substantive difference in the current arc of history. And even so, we can enjoy some semblance of community, and even the odd flash of humor, while we wait for the final (and at this point inevitable) denouement.

Is that what WOTB is really all about?

Everyone weaponized to mind shackle each other to stay in usurperDom i.e. third panel here?

      1. My Post included a link to the problem with online forums such as SaidIt and Reddit, and how having pinned posts on Solutions would:

      2. overcome serious issues inherent in the forum format, that if not addressed simply result in forums being used to dissipate our energy and usurp our focus i.e.
      - older relevant post(s) on solutions get pushed down by new (irrelevant) posts @ noise and would not get much further attention, nor traction that they should
      - only one person in a thread is notified of a new reply - the one immediately being replied to.

      2. I cross-posted this to s/SaidIt and s/WayOfTheBern to raise concern AND to suggest a simple solution - pinned posts

      3. WOTB mods already use pinned posts extensively:

      • on the side bar
      • on the sub's front page (as "announcements")

As such, extending the idea of pinned posts to Accretive Dialogue on Solutions amongst WOTB subscribers and visitors should hardly be a difficult concept to grasp / controversial to WOTB mods & subscribers. Nor should it be to the mods and subscribers of other subs for that matter e.g. s/SaidIt

UNLESS "Accretive Dialogue on Solutions" is NOT an activity that the mods & participants of the said subs/forums wish to engage in.

The passive-aggressive is strong in this one.....

Are you looking to be lied to about a revolution that isn't coming? The US is an open air debtors prison. Where the debtors choose consumerism over citizenship. It's simple math. The organizations that own our debt own our lives. Americans embrace their subservience and cowardice with gusto in exchange for all the cheap Chinese toys and trinkets Amazon can deliever. Selfishness and self delusion in endemic within the American people. There is a deep cultural rot that will take decades to root out. We've all gotten soft, fat and bloated with petty greed.

If anyone here has any actual solutions, I'm all ears. I simply evaluate that we have no way forward, because we have been defeated. If a herd of farm animals collectively charge the farmer, they will stomp him into the ground and go free. But that's not what happens. The more aggressive animals singly charge the farmer, and so they get sent to the slaughterhouse individually while the balance of the herd congratulates itself on avoiding the same fate, not understanding that eventually it will be their turn as well.

There definitely are no legal, non-violent solutions.

In regard to your cow example, the security state knows which cows are the aggressive ones because they've been surveilling them.

There aren't even any non-non-violent solutions for now. Because everyone is surveilled, and beaten down by poverty and fascism so as to be afraid to raise their head. There won't be any movement until a significant mass of people have no food. And by then it will be far, far too late. Also, the people who are doing this to us plan to leave for their bolt-holes in New Zealand when we get to that point.

Here at WotB, we rarely get hot under the collar, so we don't need heat sinks. Plus we are well grounded, with excess heat distributed through those excellent ground connections.
