Normally I'd defend his right to call someone a cunt. But since he's undoubtedly playing for the "Consequence Culture" Team I hope he's forced to take his own medicine, i.e. this apology falls on deaf ears and he loses his job and has to work at Wendy's for the rest of his life.

As entertaining as that would be, the woke typically end up getting hoisted on that particular petard only when they lose track of where they are in the purity spiral and cross someone more oppressed than themselves. Or if someone unearths something from their past that can (and will) be read as offending to anyone else in the spiral.

Boy, she really missed a chance for a neutral, unbiased interview that would have gotten her point across. Finally, a chance to answer the hard hitting questions with a balanced, impartial journalist:

"So, Ms Rowling. The Harry Potter novels are a massive smash hit, and even though you've come under fire from some parts of the public for your stance on gender issues, I think it's fair to say that, as a rule, you've always been very progressive. You even made one of the main characters of your book gay, post writing, in response to a fan question. I think the question on everyone's mind, then, is, why are you such a putrid cunt?"

Isn't this the guy who used to be Tommy Robinson's cameraman? Sorry, but something tells me his about face was just so he could continue bullying people, but get praised for it instead.
