Normally I'd defend his right to call someone a cunt. But since he's undoubtedly playing for the "Consequence Culture" Team I hope he's forced to take his own medicine, i.e. this apology falls on deaf ears and he loses his job and has to work at Wendy's for the rest of his life.

As entertaining as that would be, the woke typically end up getting hoisted on that particular petard only when they lose track of where they are in the purity spiral and cross someone more oppressed than themselves. Or if someone unearths something from their past that can (and will) be read as offending to anyone else in the spiral.
